What is your mission and who do you serve?
Tuscarawas County Job and Family Services (TCJFS) helps people achieve safety, security, and self-sufficiency. Our organization is a combined agency dedicated to supporting our community through public assistance programs and child protective services, helping families achieve safety and stability.

What is one thing someone might not know about your organization or is unique about your organization?
A distinguishing feature of our organization is the community involvement of our workforce. Employees serve on boards and committees across the county and actively support partner agencies through service initiatives and fundraising activities.

How do you work in partnership with the OhioMeansJobs Centers?
We work in partnership with the OhioMeansJobs Stark & Tuscarawas Centers by referring our clients to this valuable community resource. We also utilize the Job Center for Ohio Works First (OWF) clients who participate in the Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program (CCMEP).

Our Ohio Works First clients build valuable job skills through participation in the Comprehensive Case Management Employment Program. After completion of the program, they obtain employment and work towards self-sufficiency.
