OhioMeansJobs Stark and Tuscarawas Counties offers no-cost recruitment services to employers to help source qualified job candidates. A personal recruiter is assigned to assist the employer. Pre-screened candidate résumés can be presented to employers through their assigned recruiter or directed to employers by request.

Information on federal hiring incentives, federal contractor posting requirements as well as veterans priority of service job referrals is available through the centers.

Pre-screening of Resumes and Applications

Employers may choose to have résumés pre-screened to their job requirements and qualifying résumés forwarded to the employer. Potential candidates may also complete applications at our centers which will be forwarded to the employer.

Communication & Outreach Services

Our communication/outreach team may tailor services to maximize exposure and awareness of your hiring needs to include:

  • Create job postings on www.ohiomeansjobs.com and promote on our local OhioMeansJobs Stark & Tuscarawas Counties website (www.omjwork.com).
  • Promote social media posts on multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Linked-In and Twitter.
  • Communicate job posting information to OhioMeansJobs center partners and community stakeholders to create awareness of the employer’s hiring needs.
  • Tailor outreach opportunities unique to your hiring needs which may include radio spots, employer interviews, videos, special website features, etc.

Job Fairs (In-person and Virtual)

We organize, set-up and help in the development and operation of in-person and virtual job fairs for area employers to connect job seekers with open positions.

Onsite Recruitments/Facility Usage

A staff member will assist with onsite set-up (rooms, tables, signage, presentation equipment, etc.) and interworking (registration, guidance, or instruction of attendees, etc.) of an onsite recruitment at the OhioMeansJobs Center for no-cost. You can interview applicants and utilize our computer lab, as needed, for online application completion and pre-employment testing.
