What is your mission, and who do you serve?
Challenge Ministries is a Christ-centered organization that offers educational, vocational, and relational services to men and women overcoming professional challenges. Challenge Ministries provides clients with Job Readiness Training Classes, wrap-around services including assistance with employment-related bus passes, interview and work clothing, resume development, etc., as well as mentoring relationships.
We serve individuals in Stark County, with locations in Alliance, Massillon, and Canton. Many of the clients that we serve are dealing with criminal backgrounds, mental health and or dependency issues. We receive many referrals from the County’s Municipal Courts as well as Stark County Job and Family Services. In addition, we offer our classes in Recovery Residential Facilities as well as the Stark County Jail.
