Canton City Schools Adult Career Technical Education’s mission is to provide the personal and professional development skills for our adult learners to obtain industry credentials for career employment in in-demand jobs in Northeast Ohio and future success in life.

What is one thing someone might not know about your organization or is unique about your organization?
The programs have been offered for 58 years!

How do you work in partnership with the OhioMeansJobs Centers?
We partner with the OhioMeansJobs Centers by referring students who can benefit from their services – we also receive students recommended through the OhioMeansJobs center.

Please share with us a success story of how your organization has assisted an individual or business through your OhioMeansJobs center collaboration.
With many students struggling to make ends meet, pursuing an education/career training can be very cumbersome for a student mentally, financially, and emotionally. OMJ has stepped in and made it possible for many students to pursue their dreams and release students from the financial burdens associated.
