JoAnn Breedlove Named WIA Deputy Director

JoAnn Breedlove
JoAnn Breedlove of Plain Township has been named Deputy Director of the Workforce Initiative Association, operator of the OhioMeansJobs Stark and OhioMeansJobs Tuscarawas Centers (formerly The Employment Source).
Breedlove joined the agency in 2008 as an employer account representative, assisting employers with recruitment, hiring, training and retaining qualified job candidates through services provided through the Business Unit, and then served as business services manager for 2010-2012. She most recently oversaw the expansion of the Business Resource Network to 16 Ohio counties, funded through a $6 million Workforce Innovation Fund grant from the U.S. Department of Labor.
Breedlove also brings experience as a contract procurement specialist for The Workshops, Inc. and as a customer business manager with the Kimberly-Clark Corp.
She holds a bachelor`s degree in business administration from The Ohio State University, and a master`s degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University. A graduate of Leadership Stark County, she is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. Locally, she holds memberships with the Stark County Human Resource Association and Tuscora SHRM, having chaired workforce readiness initiatives with adults and youth. Breedlove also serves as a board member for her church.
