OhioMeansJobs Stark and Tuscarawas Counties will be offering a variety of workshops the month of July that will focus on financial literacy, employment reentry tools for criminal offenders and skills that will enhance job search.

OhioMeansJobs Tuscarawas County and the Tuscarawas County Public Library are co-hosting a workshop that will help add “bilingual” to the skills listed on a resume. Discover Mango Languages, an online and app-based learning resource free for library card holders. Library cards will be made available at this workshop for non-card holders.

An attorney from Southeastern Ohio Legal Services will discuss legal tools Ohioans can use for reentry after involvement in the criminal justice system. Topics include record sealing, Certificates of Qualification for Employment and driver’s license reinstatement. The event is free and available to the public. Financial Wellness Workshop, Tuesday, July 23rd at 1pm

OhioMeansJobs Stark County is teaming up with Community Legal Aid to present a Financial Wellness Workshop. This workshop will provide helpful information for those struggling with debt. Information on debt collection, bankruptcy and more will be provided, and the opportunity to meet privately with an attorney for a free consultation. Registration is required.
