OhioMeansJobs.com is an enhanced recruitment and job search service available through a State of Ohio partnership with Monster.com and Indeed.com. You can register on OhioMeansJobs.com by clicking the above link. It will give you the opportunity to view job postings from over 8,000 job boards and employer websites. You can easily create and post a resume, track your job search activities, and learn about popular and successful career paths relevant to your situation. It is Internet based and you can access it from anywhere there is Internet access.

Weekly Job Search Workshops - Calendar of Events
Our OhioMeansJobs Centers offer a variety of workshops each week at our two locations. The workshops include topics such as writing an effective resume, interviewing techniques and using the Internet for job search and more. Most sessions last about two hours. Call us or come into any of our offices to register for workshops. Please click on the link above to find out about the current schedule.
Career Research Library
Find out how to get that first job or how to research a new career. You can even get some helpful hints on what to do if you’ve lost your job. If you’re interested in training opportunities, we have catalogs from a variety of schools, colleges and training institutions. And, if you’re not sure about what type of training you may be interested in, we offer career exploration workshops designed to help you with your decision. Financial aid information also is available.
You can use our on-site computers to prepare or update your resume or to access employment information on the Internet. And, you can use our telephones to schedule job interviews or use our copy machines and faxes to send your resume to potential employers. We can also assist disabled customers with options such as wheelchair accessible workstations; zoom-text for the visually impaired; and TTY phone for the hearing impaired. Our trained staff are eager to assist you in identifying local programs and services, as well as showing you what is available in our Resource Centers. Whether you are looking for a an entry level job or a highly skilled professional position, We give you the tools you need to get the job you want.
